Members of Maryland Children’s Alliance attended a ceremony at the Maryland State House to watch HB1007 signed into law by Governor Hogan.

This is a great moment that we all share in and we thank everyone – both within and outside of the MCA network – who supported this enormous effort and made this a reality.  The new law will help ensure every child in Maryland has access to a local, accredited children’s advocacy center that follows a set of best practices standards and multidisciplinary care.

Wendy Myers, Director of the CRICKET Center in Worcester County, celebrates the passage of HB1007 along with Facility Dog, Josiah.
