Team Facilitator 2.0 – Virtual – First Session of Two

January 26 - January 28

Southern Regional Children’s Advocacy Center is once again offering Team Facilitator 2.0, which is a three-month long training program designed for those professionals who currently perform the role of team facilitator for their MDTs.

Due to the travel restrictions around COVID, this training will be offered this year entirely online. The program will consists of two 2.5 day sessions (January 26-28 and April 20-22, 2021) and three follow-up group sessions in between.

Given the highly interactive nature of this program and the importance of participants sharing and reflecting on real-life experiences as team facilitators as a key component of the program, we require that all interested participants complete an application describing their current role.

Program Objectives

  • Explore the strengths and challenges of the facilitator role
  • Build capacity and skills to assist in team facilitation
  • Understand how communication and relationship-building can improve team collaboration
  • Help participants create individualized plans to address specific team challenges
  • Develop a network of peers and a set of resources that will support participants in their roles
