Human Trafficking & Sex Work Decriminalization: A Panel Discussion

This FREE VIRTUAL SEMINAR is a panel discussion facilitated by the Maryland Coalition Against Sexual Assault. The topic of discussion is the interaction between human trafficking victimization and sex work criminalization. Panelists will discuss the pros and cons of decriminalization of sex work as it relates to human trafficking survivors in the state of Maryland, as well as how decriminalization may affect the tools professionals in the human trafficking prevention and victims’ services spheres have available to them to perform their job duties. Panelists will respond to prepared questions as well as questions posed by the audience.

Members of Human Trafficking Taskforces, State, County or Municipal Agency Employees dealing with trafficking concerns, and other Community, Advocacy or Faith Groups working against Human Trafficking.
