Toxic stress will be compared and contrasted with trauma and ACE’s. Trauma informed-care provides a framework for guiding the health care system’s response to toxic stress. Participants will explore the various components of trauma-informed care and how to apply it to their practice. There are promising practices for each of the components of trauma-informed care. Participants will review some of the promising practices to identify those that would be applicable to their settings.
